Ryan Mayer is a career coach, networking king, and sales expert.
In March of 2017, at the age of 24, I attended an entrepreneurial conference with over 2,000 people from all over the world. Some of these included incredibly inspiring entrepreneurs and speakers like Grant Cardone, Lewis Howes, Daymond John, Les Brown, etc. I bought the VIP ticket to this event to get backstage access where I would be able to meet and spend personal time with all the speakers. That in itself was life changing, however the most inspiring and life changing thing I experienced at this event was meeting other people around my age that were succeeding at levels way above me. They were way further along in sales and business and because meeting them and getting to know their stories I realized that I could be doing so much more at my current age. My perspective changed. That experience is what led me to create this podcast where I interview young people in their 20’s and 30’s who have inspiring stories and are working at their passions so that other Millennials can too be inspired in the way that I was at that conference.
THE TRUTH ABOUT MILLENNIALS:
Millennials have been called lazy, entitled, self-centered, not ambitious, etc. As a Millennial I don’t agree with that and in fact I take offense to it. From my experience Millennials are extremely ambitious and hard working they simply are just not inspired. I think most Millennials look at the older generation and are proud of what their parents have done but want something different. However, no one is helping to guide them and inspiring them to chase after what they truly want. Society is saying “do it this way, its the way we’ve always done it” when Millennials want to do it another way. This is what this Podcast is for. Inspiring young people through the stories of other young people who are taking ground, creating the life they want, and winning in todays world. Enjoy and please share!
