Everyone has a dream that they feel like they should go after or need to go after. Everyone has things they want to do but don’t do. I have found that wanting to do something and needing to do something isn’t enough. You have to get to a point in time in your life where creating the life you want is something you HAVE to do. That there is no other option. That it’s your #1 priority. This is the place that most people never get to in there life. Most people stay in the land of dreaming, of wishing, but never get to the land of doing because they never prioritize their dreams. I learned this when I finally went from the land of wishing, wanting to, needing to, to HAVING to chase my dreams. The desire became so great that I did not want to live another day without doing what I was created to do. Many of you are probably wondering how I got myself to this point. Let me tell you how!
I sought. I sought with everything I had. I kept my dreams in front of me. I thought about them all the time. I wrote them down. I never settled for the general 9-5 life. I never said this was good enough for me and that my dreams are too good for me. Instead I said I am too good for the 9-5, and I am good enough for my dreams. I sought my purpose and started to do it. When I began doing it everyday I started to become addicted and obsessed with it. It became something that I had to do everyday because I became addicted to the feeling of bringing the value to the world that I was created to bring. I knew what it felt like to be depressed and I started to begin to feel what it felt like to live on purpose and I never wanted to go back to my feeling of depression again. See most people settle in their life and decide that they are not good enough for their dreams so their dreams always stay dreams and never become reality. I didn’t want that life. I wanted a life that I could look back on and say I did what I was created to do. I left a real legacy.
Your dreams need to go from a need, should, want, and wish, to a HAVE to. You may not be there yet but you can get there. You just need to keep seeking and doing. You just need to keep moving forward and investing in yourself. If you aren’t doing any of that then just start. How? Start. Literally start doing whatever it is that you want and God will do the rest. Have faith that you will find out as you go along because you will. If you were created for something then God wants nothing but to guide you through the plan he has for your life. He just cant show you if you aren’t seeking. If you seek enough you will get to a point in time in your life where you will drop everything and go all in. You will get to a point in time in your life where your purpose becomes so addicting to you that you cant live another day without pursuing it and doing it. Get yourself from wanting something, to HAVING to go after it!
